Hi:All
I just brought HTC touch PDA phone with external bluetooth GPS receiver. Which map application is suitable for this HTC phone.

You have the option of Garmin MXT or Mapking 2007. These are the map format that available in this forum. Read the wiki or search for the two software.

Hi Guys good forum you have over here. Am a newbie in the world of GPS and would like some help in enabling my HTC Touch for GPS use.
I currently am using these:

- HTC Touch windows mobile phone
- Just obtained a Holux GPS bluetooth unit
- Apple Mac User

Can any kind soul please advise what steps must I do to get GPS (maps as well as liniking the Holux GPS receiver) on my device. Greatly appreciated.

Specifically starting from Newbies Pitsop entitled Newbies with PDA and BT GPSr and want to setup Garmin Que and GPSProxy to all the links in that page.

GPS: HTC Touch Dual, Nokia E61, MTK 32 receiver, Tomtom, iGo & Garmin Mobile XT

Purchase the Garmin Mobile XT on a microSD card, insert it, and start program. It will then permit you to connect to your Holux.

Download the free map from here and you can freely use it.

Alternatively, find a couple of POIs using the free map, contribute, and get unlock key for the locked version that you can then download.
