Bro rajeh1313 as you and your group of friends do travel up north on a "frequent" basis, suggest you invest in a good map of whole of Thailand. Malsingmaps covers Singapore and Peninsula West Malaysia and with Thailand you will have access to a continuous map ( you can merge the maps ).

Sources of Good Thailand Maps for Garmin devices are  :

Rotweiler's website at http://rotweilermaps.com/maps.cfm
Jerome's website at http://gpsmaps.jwpixs.com/
Garmin South East Asia Map at http://www8.garmin.com/cartography/mapS ... t_Asia.jsp

Do join the Singaproe GG this coming weekend if you can make some time.

Keep in mind though, continuous coverage does not necessarily mean possible inter-border routing, especially for maps from different developers.

Just a clarification.... the Rotweiler Thailand maps DO inter-connect perfectly to the MalSing maps - starting with the Jan 2008 MalSing maps, and with the same date for Rotweiler's Thailand. That's an advantage of submitted routes and POI's to two non-competing organizations!

Older maps of mine - like the one I permitted Jerome to post on his site - do NOT inter-connect.

Minor editing of 3008 to 2008. -sabre23t
