Problem with cgsmapper exporting IMG map

#1 Post by brandonong » Wed Oct 10, 2007 3:01 pm

I was trying to edit some of the roads of a HCM map (in img) i downloaded and then exporting it using GPSMapedit.

But when i try to export it with the option Garmin IMG / cgsmapper.exe, it asks me to save it in polish format.
(what is actually polish format can someone enlighten me on the various maps format?)

Unfortunately, i couldn't find any option to save it as polish format inside!

Ahh ok, now managed to save it as .mp format.

Then i tried to export it with garmin | cGPSmapper.exe option, the status window showed the following error and it could not proceed.

Hi,

If this is the one you downloaded from Mapcenter, I do have that map and have successfully managed to compile it. If you 're still having problems doing that, let me know and I'll upload the img file here.

To answer your query above - you should delete all background objects, then set the RGN Limit size = 1024 and set a high TRE Size - something like 1500 or higher and you should have no trouble compiling it.
