Adding new maps to Mapsource
From MalsingWiki
In order for a map to be viewable in Mapsource, a Mapsource mapset has to be created. A basic Mapsource mapset consists of a TDB file containing mapset information, an overview IMG map and the detail map or maps. More advanced mapsets may also contain index files and customisation files. The mapset has to be registered properly in order for Mapsource to identify it.

Mapsource mapset installer available
Then you have things easy. The Mapsource mapset installer, such as the one for Malsingmaps GM-MySin.exe installer, will automatically install the mapset.
Mapsource mapset installer not available
Without an installer, creating a Mapsource mapset requires working knowledge in Windows command prompt, cgpsmappers configuration and command and Windows registry. Previously, only a small group of enthusiasts is able to create Mapsource mapsets. Now, there are at least two freeware utilities which automatically generate Mapsource mapsets:
MapSetToolKit
Freeware created by Cypherman@gmail.com and is available at http://cypherman1.googlepages.com/home.
M3 - Mapsource Mapset Manager
Freeware created by Antyong@malsingmaps.com and can be downloaded at M3 Download, is probably the earliest mapset generation tool. M3 focuses on making it as easy and error free as possible for casual users to enjoy their IMG maps on Mapsource. It also has an option for mapsource TYP customisation following either our Malsing Installer or other product families. Version 2 has just been released and should make mapset generation even more effortless.
IMG2MS
Shareware IMG-File to MapSource with a limited demo version which works for 14 days, only 3x delete mapsets, only 1 ID-number might be worth further investigation. Some members prefers this [1].
