Some GPS accessories other than external antenna and GPS mount that you might consider having are as follows.

Cigarette Lighter Power Cable
Consider getting a cigarette lighter power supply cable to power your GPS while driving in the car. This preserves your batteries. Make sure you get the correct power connector as different Garmin units have different power connectors.
The screens also lights up constantly which is especially useful at night.

Voice Recorder
This is an excellent addition if you intend to contribute tracks to improve our maps. If you have a PDA, consider getting a voice recording application for use with your PDA instead of a standalone voice recorder (digital ones can be expensive!).
